Job description

The Engineering Department is in charge of the airworthiness documentation, process improvement and reliability for all the aircraft types present in the Global Jet fleet, in collaboration with the CAMO Department.

Alongside the Technical matters, the Engineering Department is also in charge of developing and maintaining flight operations procedures, manuals and checklists for all the aircraft types present in the Global Jet fleet, in collaboration with the Pilot Fleet Chiefs.

A key element is to ensure that safety is to the highest standards and each procedure is in accordance with the different regulations, such as EASA, FAA, and foreign CAA such as Aruba DCA, CAA KY, etc. and the TC holder recommendations.

Global Jet’s Engineering Department includes highly qualified personnel, experienced in project management and Regulation, working to ensure an efficient management of the approved documentation.

 

You will report to the Engineering Manager and you will be in charge of the following tasks:

  • Analysis of the TC holder documentation (Maintenance Program, IPC, SB, MEL etc…).

  • Survey the Civil Aviation Requirements in order to update the company documentation.

  • Preparation and development of Aircraft Maintenance Program and Minimum Equipment List based on the latest TC Holder documentation and recommendation from the Civil Aviation Authorities

  • Preparation of Reliability reports in accordance with the policy as set by Global Jet

  • Collaboration and support other Global Jet departments (Training, Safety, Compliance Monitoring etc..)

  • Act as an Engineering Department contact point for CAAs 

Job requirements

Aeronautical Engineer/Master degree preferred (for applicants with other backgrounds, please explain in your application letter your motivations and relevant skills for this position).

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Engineer and possess suitable knowledge in aviation.

A passion for aviation, pragmatic and creative problem-solving, collaborative team working in multicultural environment, adaptable in a stressful situation, able to speak English with other European languages are a plus
